Welcome to the website of
Dr Alan Burrow Optometrist.
Our goal is to provide the highest standard of Professional Service for Patients Who Value Their Vision. In today’s visually demanding world clear and comfortable vision is essential for academic achievement as well as performance in the workplace.
Vision is our dominant sense.
It has been estimated that approximately 80% of information is derived through our eyes.
Our vision also enables us to appreciate the natural beauty around us such as beautiful landscapes, mountains animals and birdlife.
While birds with defective vision would die because of their inability to feed and avoid predators, humans are privileged to have sophisticated technology through Optometry and Ophthalmology to restore vision and allow us to function efficiently. This is particularly true in our visually demanding society. It is worth preserving our most precious asset.
Committed to Comprehensive
Eye Examinations.
It is very satisfying that as optometrists, it is our primary function to restore vision by correcting refractive errors (focusing errors) with lenses of various types, including spectacles and contact lenses.
We are committed to taking the time to ensure that all aspects of the eye examination and dispensing of spectacles are performed to the highest level to provide patients with the clearest possible vision and spectacles or contact lenses that meet their cosmetic and financial needs.
